Midway Band
Sophisticated pieces for concert band, the Midway Band Series features one of Bill's unique scoring technique that gives maximum flexibility (particularly with the tenor and bass lines). The "upper" part of the arrangement is scored with 2 flute parts, 2 clarinet parts (the 2nd part stays below the break), alto saxophone, 3 trumpets, percussion, and optional oboe and French horn parts. The lower parts give options for the first tenor line (trombone, baritone, and/or tenor sax), the second tenor line (trombone, baritone, alto clarinet and/or bassoon) and bass line (trombone, baritone, bass clarinet, baritone saxophone, bassoon and/or tuba).
